About Ch'i Designs
Mandy Ng is the driving force behind the creation and development of Ch'i Designs. Teamed with James Ng who plays a vital
role in providing business support and Sales & marketing Knowledge and experience, they form a strong relationship in
managing a growing, innovative business.
With a wealth of creative experience behind her, Mandy has developed her skills through working over 10 years in the wall-coverings
industry. A short spell in freelancing, gained her valuable experience in the textile and home wares markets.
A change of direction soon lead to the launch of her very first greeting cards range in Autumn 2000 and the company Ch'i Designs
was formed.
Trained in Surface Pattern design her skills are visible in the ranges she has developed for Ch'i Designs, using mixed media to
produce collage pieces, the images are delicately transformed into printed greeting cards which have the look and feel of a hand-made
product. Her inspirations are taken from her textiles designs and artefacts from nature and her trips around the world
Since the launch of Ch'i Designs Mandy's designs have proved a great success in the UK and Global markets, with many of her
images licensed with major companies and department stores.
